NBC Will Report On Sexual Assault Allegations, But Only When The Allegations Are Against Republicans

Months after the hearing, media elites remain silent on Kavanaugh’s allegations of sexual assault. Dr. Christine Blasey Ford has since dismissed all charges and not one journalist is investigating into this matter. But instead, media pundits are now picking up the pieces from their botched reporting on Ford, Deborah Ramirez, and Julie Swetnick’s sexual allegations. The whole initiative to push these stories just to sink Kavanaugh’s chances on the SCOTUS are now revealing themselves as pure hackery.

Ronan Farrow is championed among most (if not all) journalist as a hero with his impressive track record of investigating sexual predators and bringing their allegations to light. Unfortunately, The same Ronan Farrow who cracked the Harvey Weinstein scandal turned out to be irresponsible with his investigation into Kavanaghs alleged sexual history.

Farrow ran a weak story on Debrorah Ramirez where he reported Ramirez claimed that Kavanaugh exposed himself at a drinking game at Yale, only to find zero witnesses to support the claim -except one person who said they heard about it from a friend. When Farrow tracks down the person who allegedly made the original claim the individual had no clue what he was talking about. With no corroborating witnesses to support Ramirez’s claim, this story was still published.

Farrow’s story contradicts itself by stating an incident took place with no witnesses to proclaim Kavanaugh’s inappropriate behavior. All the story provides is allegations but no witnesses.  This skewed reporting on Farrow might put a dent in his credibility. And this further proves that great media figures are still partisan with their coverage.

Disappointing to see the man who sparked the MeToo movement into motion, with his reporting on Harvey Weinstein, mishandle Kavanagh’s allegations.

Speaking of mishandling allegations, remember back when Farrow tried to report Weinstein’s assault crimes to NBC and was shot down by “the very highest levels of NBC.” At the time Farrow had actual audio recordings of Weinstein and his Victims but NBC still refused the story. Farrow had to then go to the The New Yorker, who ran with the story.

NBC’s history or mishandling assault victim stories does not stop here. The network also sat on the “hot scoop” interview with Juanita Broaddrick where she discussed then-President Clinton’s rape accusations. This interview was hidden from the public until after President Clinton’s impeachment hearing.

But when it comes to smearing Judge Kavanaugh, NBC takes a gentle approach with Julie Swetnick and leaves out claims and evidence. Now Swernick is referred to the justice department to be investigated for not one, but three separate crime consisting of conspiracy, providing false statements to Congress, and obstructing a Senate investigation.
